Residence and Studio of Christine Scheid in Cape Town, South Africa (2024)

On the hill in a quiet cul-de-sac stands a house that looks like the other houses in the street - white, cubes with blossoming gardens - but at the same time is unique. In the late 1990s the German architect Nikolaus Maria Scheid build a house for his wife, the artist Christine Scheid and himself. Since his passing in 2012 Christine kept on living in the house and continues to fill it with light, love and art.
